Service & Engagement serves both the University and the Maryville community as the main source for volunteer opportunities, the benefit of academic endeavors, and service goals of community agencies. Volunteer programs at Northwest are beneficial to the development of students and to the improvement of the surrounding communities. We offer a wide range of programs that help students become engaged in the community and provide a valuable experience to apply to post-college careers.
The Emergency and Disaster Management program is seeking volunteers for the annual Missouri Hope emergency disaster training exercise. These volunteers will serve as victim roleplayers. Missouri Hope will take place between October 11th and 13th. For more information, contact Dr. Peter Adam via email (padam@hwfj-art.com).
If you know of any upcoming service opportunities for students or would like student volunteers for your organization or event, please reach out to the Office of Student Involvement at 660-562-1226, or by emailing osi@hwfj-art.com.
